Operational Legacy: Grupo Expansion (Brazil)
Receivables management and crisis response for over 3,000 real estate units
Prior to the establishment of Latitude3, the team behind its creation led a comprehensive and high-stakes operational support initiative for the Grupo Expansion — a real estate holding with four major developments in Brazil, two located in Ceará and two in Maranhão, totaling more than 3,000 units under commercialization.
From the initial phase until the group’s dissolution in 2019, HICKS was responsible for the full management of receivables and played a central role in internal restructuring and day-to-day operational support.
Scope of involvement now integrated into the Latitude3 portfolio:
End-to-end receivables and collections management
Crisis and stakeholder management during project delays
Legal and negotiation support in customer-facing matters
Client service, customer relationship restoration, and after-sales support
Investor engagement and reporting during periods of instability
Continued support to select entities from the former group through 2025
The work conducted with the Expansion Group demanded a high level of adaptability, strategic decision-making, and operational resilience — capabilities that now form the core foundation of Latitude3’s approach to complex and distressed asset environments.
